The heat-shrink tubing is a multi-function cross-linked polyolefin tube. This plastic tube shrinks under the action of heat and provides mechanical, chemical and climatic protection to cables. It also allows cable systems to be organized with color codes.

The medium or thick wall sheath with adhesive (halogen free) in black color is mainly used for insulation and protection of cables. The medium wall liner is used in aerial or buried application and the thick wall liner in severe environment. The thermoplastic resin ensures a perfect seal between the covered elements and the sheath. The shrinkage ratio is 3/1.
